Community mapping is a large component of ReTree the District. We'll be mapping the 1200+ tree lawn locations in the Phase 1 area of ReTree the District. Tree lawns are the narrow strip of grass between the street and the sidewalk.The project uses smartphones to collect (status, location, address, photos) information on each potential planting location, which is then automatically added to the public map below.
