We need your help!

The University Heights Tool Library is a completely volunteer-run community-based resource serving the University Heights, the City of Buffalo, and the larger Buffalo-Niagara region. Help keep the Tool Library's doors open and be a part of community projects taking place across the city.

In order to post regular hours at our storefront and online we ask that volunteers be able to staff the same 3-4 hour shift every week. If you are interested and would like to train to become a bona fide Tool Librarian please fill out the form below:

Lend a hand!

Aside from loaning tools out to individuals and organizations, the Tool Library also facilitates low cost high impact community development projects with various partners across University District. We are using a service called GiveGab to not only keep track of service opportunities but also crowdfund ongoing community projects.

You can view all our upcoming opportunities by visiting our GiveGab profile page.
